Såpass lo-fi og såpass indie gitarrock at aktørene ikke fatter det selv en gang. Skjønner vi det? Jeg tror ikke noen forstår hvor store Nyheimsvegen aldri ble. Duoens debutplate er spilt inn på Jakobsli i Trondheim en gang mellom 1996 og 2001. Eller der omkring. Det er uansett lyden av sent 90-tall, firespors opptaker, sur vokal og dårlig engelsk. Tenk norske Ring og St. Thomas, eller enda større, legendariske Neutral Milk Hotel. Og låtene? Sju catchy vårbriser for lange underbukser innerst og de utslitte bandskjortene øverst. Nå ligger verden for Nyheimsvegens føtter igjen.
